RSPH   Level 2 Award in Understanding Mental Health and Wellbeing

Overview: The learners will have an understanding of attitudes and beliefs about mental health and wellbeing. They will also be able to explore theoretical models used to describe mental health and wellbeing and the strategies that may be used to promote wellbeing of the people in their community.
Aim: To provide learners with a knowledge and understanding of the principles of mental wellbeing, the effect of mental wellbeing on the individual and community, and how mental wellbeing can be maintained or improved.

RSPH Level 2 Award in Health and Safety in the Workplace (QCF)


Overview: The RSPH Level 2 Award in Health and Safety in the Workplace training can be tailored to business and individual needs to make the learning experience relevant and fit for purpose.
The learners will acquire a better understanding of health and safety within the workplace. The emphasis of course is to make the employee safe for him/herself, safe for others and staff would be capable of identifying potential hazards and risks in the workplace and their possible effects.

Overview: This qualification will enable learners to gain knowledge and understanding of the importance of food hygiene, associated food hazards, good hygiene practice and controls based upon an awareness of food safety management systems. Learners will be able to maintain good practice in the handling, processing and preparation of safe food.

Overview: Learners will gain knowledge and understanding of why people misuse substances, the personal and social consequences of this and how individuals can be helped and supported with regard to substance misuse.

Emergency First Aid at Work (QCF) Level 2 Qualsafe Award
Overview:
This course will enable learners to gain a basic understanding of theoretical and practical knowledge in current first aid.
The Level 2 EFAAW 1 day course meet the statutory requirements of Regulations that all employers within the UK perform a risk assessment that determines their first aid requirements. This risk assessment may identify the need at least one registered first aider on the premises at all times, and the level of certifictaion they would require.

First Aid At Work (QCF) Level 3 Qualsafe Awards
The course is designed to teach first aid at work. Successful learners will receive a certificate valid for 3 years. Learners will be assessed on their practical and theoretical first aid knowledge.

  2. Assessing an Incident
  3. Managing an Unresponsive Casualty who is Breathing Normally
  4. Managing an Unresponsive Casualty who is not Breathing Normally

  10. Be able to administer first aid to a casualty with burns and scalds, eye injury. with anaphylaxis, major illness.

Assessment: assessed with two multiple choice theory examinations and practical assessments (Practical assessment on the Treatment of Wounds and Bleeding and CPR, secondary survey

Paediatric First Aid (QCF) Level 3 Qualsafe Awards
