Job description

Senior Care workers attend to the personal needs and comforts of the residents with care and support needs within the care establishment. Task required for the position include: – Routine oversees and monitor care workers, Take responsibility for the shift and the service while on duty, Assist with induction, supervision, planning of care and training of healthcare staff – Administer medication following the necessary training, Liaises with professional staff in carrying out care plan etc, monitors services users by taking clinical observations and alert the staff if there are any variations, responds to emergencies and provides guidance and support to care workers, Assist and enables service users with personal care, Serve meals to service users. To assist the service users with overall comfort and wellbeing, provides interest and activities to stimulate and engage the service user.

Experience Required:

• Bachelors or Diploma in Nursing
• Minimum of three years post-study work experience as a Registered Nurse/ Senior Care worker
