We support and encourage our service users in many areas, helping them to lead a full and varied life in a modern high quality accommodation bespoke to customer needs, including:-

  • Developing domestic and life skills (shopping, cooking, cleaning).
  • Getting out and about in the local community.
  • Advice and advocacy for service users .
  • Accompaniment to appointments.
  • Scheduled activity plan
  • Outreach support

We work closely in partnership with individuals, their families or people important to them, and Local Authorities, to ensure we develop and deliver a package of support which is unique to each person we support.
Staffing
We make sure that our staff are fully trained in person-centred active support so that they’re able to help the people they support enjoy higher levels of inclusion, independence and choice.
Services
Learning Disability
Bioluminuex supported living supports individuals with lower intellectual ability who need support with day to day tasks. The level of support someone needs will depend on the severity of their learning disability.have high support needs and are dealing with other issues related to their physical and emotional health. These might include mental health conditions – such as anxiety or depression – physical disabilities, sensory issues or limited verbal communication.
Positive Behaviour Support
We support people with learning disabilities who exhibit behaviours described as challenging. We work to resolve and communicate issues which may be behind the challenging behaviour.
We provide skilled and experienced support teams who undertake specialist training in positive behaviour support, designed around the person being supported
Autism Support
Bio Luminuex offers a person centred and Autism friendly approach for every autistic service user we support. We encourage people to gain self awareness and increased understanding of their Autism. This ensures that the support we provide makes the most of the gifts and skills their Autism can bring as well as seeking to reduce the difficulties each person may face
We support people to gain confidence and do things that are important to them. This can lead to increased independence and importantly a sense of control of their lives. Our experienced and well trained staff come with wealth of knowledge and experience of working with people with Autism
